Objectives

Following an ambitious acquisition programme Timbmet engaged Cognition to investigate the feasibility of rebranding the entire organisation under one name. Our brief was to leverage Timbmet's reputation as an innovator of sustainable and superior timber solutions, to raise awareness of their substantial product portfolio in key markets and to communicate their position as global market leader in environmental sustainability.

  • Overwhelmingly positive stakeholder feedback following the launch of the new website
  • Considerable coverage in trade, vertical and national press
  • Timbmet won TTJ Hardwood Trader of the Year 2008 
  • There has been a 220% increase in traffic since the launch of the new website 
  • Implementation of new product awareness campaigns has generated a new level of activity in the marketplace which has helped to keep Timbmet at the forefront of the timber industry
  • As a result of the focused campaign approach the number of special offers downloaded from the website has doubled
