Cognition launches new global branding for ALE

ALE Logo
Following a three-month marcoms audit and re-branding project that reached more than 20 sites located across the world, Cognition has launched ALE’s new global brand to a press-filled audience at a champagne event in London.

Aptly held at the prestigious Institute of Engineering and Technology, the launch saw the official unveiling of the heavy lifting and transportation specialist’s cleaner, bolder brand, created by Cognition’s design and marketing teams. The new logo conveys the company’s core values of ‘Safer, Smarter, Stronger’ and unites ALE’s sites under a single identity.

With all ALE’s key trade journalists and the BBC in attendance, Cognition generated a packed journalist briefing schedule for ALE’s board members and created an event to remember for all who came.

Our 2009 campaign for Business Intelligence vendor QlikTech UK was shortlisted in the technology category following weeks of deliberation by the judges. We’re particularly pleased it was recognised by the CIM as these highly competitive awards celebrate the commercial effectiveness of marketing projects.

The final winners in all the categories will be announced at a black tie ceremony in February. The technology category is a strong one with seven other contenders – including international agencies Saatchi & Saatchi and McCann Erickson – vying for the top place.
